A trusting and supportive soundboard..
Life coaching is about many things – but essentially for me it’s about helping people to self-problem solve, in order for them to find the answers and solutions they need to achieve their targets and goals (and resolve prevailing issues)
During the coaching process I help people to become more self-aware and to recognise the strengths and skills they already have – at the same time giving them the confidence they need to trust in their own decision making
Through a supportive process of effective and thought provoking questioning, I help guide the client to focus on what they want to achieve, find new options, set goals and then formulate an action plan to achieve those goals
Through coaching, people are able to find what direction they want to go in, and then by knowing precisely what they want to achieve, they’ll know where to concentrate their efforts on in order to make things happen
Coaching helps, encourage and motivate people to achieving their goals much quicker and more effectively than if working on their own
Most importantly, everything discussed with the coach is 100% confidential and in line with the coaching code of ethics
There are times when we all find ourselves not being able to see ‘the wood from the trees’ and these are the times when working with a life coach can be most rewarding – with the coach helping the client to find clarity and create new options in order to take the positive actions needed to make things happen
With coaching, there are no right or wrong answers – as we are all unique individuals with our own core values and beliefs, that are exactly right for each of us
What coaching isn’t – it’s not mentoring or counselling, so the coach will not give suggestions or advice (unless the client has specifically requested to include mentoring as part of the process) – we also do not delve into the past, or deal with psychological issues and serious addictions
The uniqueness of coaching is that it’s focused on the here and now and what can be done to improve things now – it’s about future possibilities and not past failures
Life coaching can be on any subject you choose; work, business, relationships, time management, health and well being, procrastination – and all number of realistic ambitions..
Who uses a life coach? Well almost anyone really– successful business people looking to reach higher levels of performance, people that are stuck in making important decisions and need to find clarity and direction and people generally looking for growth and expansion in their day-to-day life
The uniqueness of my style of coaching is that not only do i encourage my clients to find the answers within themselves but i also bring some of my own life experiences to the table in order to show my understanding and to facilitate quicker solutions and bring value for money for my services
My coaching philosophy is to support and guide my clients in order for them to reach their full potential – I aim to build in sustainability to the clients situation and not for coaching to just be a quick fix
If I can help you with my tool box of life coaching skills, then i really look forward to working with you – in helping you to be the best person you can be
